Pooja, an 18-year-old Hindu girl, was reportedly shot dead in Sukkur Rogi in Pakistan’s Sindh province.
Pooja was walking on the street near his house when a gang allegedly tried to abduct him.
Pooja protested and tried to escape from the kidnapping gang. The kidnapping gang got angry and shot Pooja and fled.
Pakistan, meanwhile, has been widely accused of frequent abductions and forced conversions of minorities.
The reports say that this incident may be one of the reasons why the minority population there continues to suffer from forced marriages and conversions.

பாகிஸ்தான் சிந்து மாகாணத்தில் உள்ள சுக்குர் ரோகி என்ற இடத்தில் இந்து மதத்தைச் சேர்ந்த 18 வயதுடைய இளம் பெண் பூஜா சுட்டுப் படுகொலை செய்யப்பட்டுள்ளதாக தெரிவிக்கப்படுகின்றமை அதிர்ச்சியை ஏற்படுத்தியுள்ளது.
பூஜா , தனது வீட்டுக்கு அருகில் உள்ள தெருவில் நடந்து சென்றபோது, கும்பலொன்று அவரை கடத்த முயன்றதாக கூறப்படுகின்றது.
இதன்போது கடும் எதிர்ப்பு தெரிவித்த பூஜா, கடத்தல் கும்பலிடம் இருந்து தப்பிக்க முயற்சி செய்துள்ளார்.
இதனால் கடத்தல் கும்பல் கோபடைந்து பூஜைவை சுட்டுக் கொலை செய்துவிட்டு தப்பி ஓடிவிட்டது.
அதேவேளை பாகிஸ்தான் அடிக்கடி சிறுபான்மை சமூகத்தினர் கடத்தப்பட்டு வலுக்கட்டாயமாக மதமாற்றம் செய்யப்படுவதாக பரவலாக குற்றச்சாட்டு உள்ளது.
அங்குள்ள சிறுபான்மையின மக்கள் வலுக்கட்டயமாக திருமணம் செய்து மதமாற்றம் செய்யப்படும் இன்னல்களை தொடர்ந்து அனுபவித்து வரும் நிலையில், இந்த சம்பவமும் அதில் ஒன்றாகத்தான் இருக்கும் என அந்த தகவல்கள் தெரிவிக்கின்றன.
